Kali Linux Dual Boot with Windows
Installing Kali alongside a Windows installation can be quite useful. First, make sure that you’ve backed up any important data on your Windows installation.

Requirements :
Minimum of 20 GB free disk space on Windows CD-DVD / USB boot support
8GB Pendrive (Minimum)At lest Dual-Core (either intel or AMD) with minimum 1GB of RAM.Windows 10 or any other version of Windows(Already Installed)

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO INSTALL KALI ⇂⇃
Step 1: download universal USB installer from HERE
Step 2: install UUI and select THE REQUIRED operating system u need (here is is kali linux ) so select kali linux
STEP 3: And the go to browse section and select the downloaded ISO as shown below
STEP 4: Now time for selecting the pendrive u want to install the os ..
STEP 5 : Hit create . if u want to format the whole disk (mandatory) hit format option beside the selectgion of disk option
Hit create and grab some coffee. :p
It may take sometime.. It will show the successful page once installed in your pendrive..
STEP 6 : Now just go to Boot menu ..to go to boot menu first switch of the pc and strike f9 (may change for different pc/laptops) select the pendrive in which u installed Kali linux
once Selected the kali linux ..here continue
STEP 7 : Choose the language to be used for the installation process.And press ” Continue “.
STEP 8 : Choose your country and ” Continue ” the installation process
STEP 9 : Next set type of keyboard layout.Choose ” American English ”
STEP 10 : Next step set IP configurations. You can Configure your network Automatically OR Manually.
STEP 11 : In next it will ask for a Hostname. Set any name you want.
You have to enter a password for ” ROOT User “. After entering Administrative account password click ” Continue “.
STEP 12 : Next choose partitioning method as ” Manual ” and hit ” Continue “.
STEP 13 : Carefully do this step.Only choose the partition that we created earlier for Kali installation and press ” Continue “.
STEP 14 : Then select the option ” Delete the partition ” and hit ” Continue “.
STEP 15 : After above step you can see that your Kali installation partition is now show as “FREE SPACE “.So choose it and ” Continue “.
STEP 16 : Next step it will ask us how to use those ” FREE SPACE “. Choose the option ” Automatically partition the free space ” and ” Continue ” the process.
STEP 17 : Next choose the first option that is recommended for new users and press ” Continue “.
STEP 18 : Finally select the option ” Finish Partitioning and Write Changes to Disk ” and ” Continue “
STEP 19 : In this step it will ask permission to write changes in disk.Choose ” Yes ” and ” Continue “. Now the Kali will start the installation process.Wait till the process completes
STEP 20 : In the middle of installation it will ask for network mirror,choose ” Yes ” or ” No “This settings is about update option. So we recommended you to choose ” No ” now. You can later change this option.

ReplyDeleteif u installed kali with dual boot the every time u restart it will ask u to select the operating system u need to run..there u can select the required os :)
